Week #59 I Need Thee Every Hour
Hey everyone! How is it going? Things are going really well down here in Chile. It is starting to heat up a lot more as we enter into spring. It was so warm the other day that I left for a good part of the day only in a short sleeve shirt. I have not done that in months.
Great news! Beatris got baptized. It was a super spiritual service. I played the piano and it was awesome. It is so nice to see her and her husband Alejandro united in the Gospel. Hopefully in a year they will be able to be sealed in the temple for time and all eternity.
We are coming up on the end of the transfer this week. This one is going to be especially crazy. Usually we would get transfer calls next Monday but because the CCM is letting out the missionaries early this week(I have no clue why), we will be doing the actual transfers on Saturday. Elder Gonzales only has 2 transfers here so it is unlikely that he leaves but on the other hand, there are 16 elders coming into our mission and they will need the trainers so we will just have to wait and see.
Other interesting news is that this Sunday the entire country of Chile( or maybe the entire South America South area...not sure which one) will be receiving a transmission from Salt Lake City with messages from General Authority. It sounds super exciting. There are rumors going around that there are big changes coming but we will just have to wait and see.
Time is flying. I cannot believe that we are coming up to the end of August. There are times when it feels like time crawls but looking back, it seems like nothing.
Hope that you guys have an awesome week! Enjoy the first week of school! Les amo!
