Week #60 Well Folks We are Coming Full Circle

Buenas tardes a todos. Les quiero y estoy feliz y animado que puedo escribirles hoydia. 

(Good afternoon everyone. I love you and I am happy and encouraged that I can write you today)

Guess what? We had transfers. And guess what? I am training! I have actually known for a good bit for time that I would. The asistents called me last Wednesday(the day after I wrote you guys last) and they told me I would be training. I had a meeting with the other trainers on Thursday and I receieved my new companion on Saturday. 

My new companion is Elder Goodman from Texas. He lives in a part called Frisco. It is near Dallas. He is 18 and he is a great missionary. I am excited to learn from him for the next 2 weeks. It is kind of weird training because I have the exact same amount of time that Elder Nava had when he trained me so that is why I feel like we are coming around full circle.

The broadcast on Thursday was awesome. Elder Foster from the Seventy, Sister Franco from the Primary Presidency, Elder Christofferson  and President Oaks all spoke. It was a great meeting. It was also the last time I saw Elder Bastías. He is home now which is kind of weird to think about.

My first few days of training have gone well. Despite several appointments falling through and a good handful of rejected contacts we have still had several solid lessons and we have a lot to do in the coming days. Honestly it is abit of an adjustment for me now because Elder Goodman is my first companion from the States. And do not get me started on our pension. 4 Americans in the same apartment.....My Spanish is in the tank.....

Yesterday we had a great lesson with our ward mission leader named Sebastian. He is a returned missionary who served in Antofagasta and he is a stud. We had the lesson with two people Jorge and Giumela. Giumela shared with us an experience wityh us about a dream she had of her mother who passed away recently. She dreamed that her mother was dressed in all white and was super happy. I have heard many experiences like this before and it has built my testimony that God loves His children and he is always working for us.
