Week #75 D&C 123:17
Hello one and all how are you guys doing? Things are going well down here in Chile. Summer vacations are starting to kick in and great news: Raul passed his baptismal interview! Yeah! So this Saturday we are looking forward to and planning a baptism,
1. Best moment of last week? Easily it had to be Raul's baptismal interview. Especially because the first few days before that had been hard and slow so it was a relief to that and it cheered me up. Raul honestly is great. Like they say here in Chile, he is una persona seca(dry). He just needs water.
2. Funniest moments of last week? The funniest moment was when we were filming a video for the Christmas conference. They wanted us to send a Christmas greeting to the mission from the zone. We decided to spell out Feliz Navidad and one sister, when it arrived to her while she was filming said really excitedly "F!" It would have been really great if her letter had been F. It was Z
3. Something you learned this week? I learned a lot yesterday from an article written by Elder Holland. He talked about our learning as a long soul stirring journey and I loved it because I want my learning not just to increase my knowledge but rather increase my ability to follow the Savior and become more like Him
4. Something you ate? Pastel de papa!!! It was so good. It is like shepherd pie and it is a classic Chilean dish
Exchanges this week with Elder Leandro
5. Someone you talked to? We had a visitor in church on Sunday. His name was Thomas. He was really nice until the end. At the end he started to claim that he was a prophet and that there were changes to the commandments , etc. It was a weird turn to the lesson but we handled it calmly and moved on.
6. Something you did? I rejoined choir 😁 For our Christmas conference we have to sing a musical number. We are singing Silent Night and I am in the basses. It is fun but I am out of practice
This week is going to be a blur. We have interviews, a baptism, and a lot more. It is a great season to be a missionary! Love you guys!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the Christmas package!
