Week #84 The Miracle!

Things are going really well here in El Parque. We received transfers yesterday and nothing has changed! Really, nothing. Elder Ashton is staying for one more transfer which I am happy about and I am still going to be district leader. So we just keep going doing what we do.

Toasting(hahaha) to a good day of work

Karla has not been doing so great unfortunately. She is really good but she is struggling to come to church so her date fell but I think we will be able to set a new one. Miguel and Jenny are doing great but their marriage wont be until at least 6 months out and Miguel could go into surgery soon so the chance that I am here for their baptism is pretty slim. The nice thing is that it is a new transfer so to me it seems like a great chance to have a new start to the area

Something really cool happened last night. We were walking home when Elder Ashton noticed something on the ground that maybe only a missionary would recognize. It was a missionary planner. We stopped and took a look at it. We quickly discovered that it was a planner of an hermana in our zone. We called her to let her know that we found it. She was so excited. She had lost it a few days ago and it contained essential information about a really good reference to send that was only to be found in that planner. She was so sad when she lost it and was praying that someone would find it and we did. It was a sign to me that God really is aware of our individual needs and desires and He is more than willing to grant the righteous one we possess. After all, "we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."(Romans 8:28)
